Using the Take Assignment Page

The top part of the Take Assignment page displays the following information:

The course name
The section name
The assignment name
The number of times you have taken the test
The number of additional times you will be allowed to take it

If the assignment is timed, an indicator tells how much time you have left to complete it. Buttons near the top right of the page let you save your answers (to resume the test later, if you're allowed) or submit the answers for grading.

Note: If you do not see any part of this information, the assignment is not timed, you are not allowed any more attempts, or your instructor may have suppressed display of the information.

The questions are listed by number at the left of the page. A status indicator for each question lets you know whether or not you have answered it. Use the scroll bar to view additional question numbers, if necessary.

When you take an assignment, you can work through the assignment's questions in any order. Depending on how your instructor set up the assignment, you may be able to answer questions you skipped, review your answers, and change answers before submitting the answers for grading.
