Using the Header Links

At the top of most pages in ThomsonNOW are Header links for several tools that you may find useful.

Help

Use this link to open the online ThomsonNOW Student Help at its main table of contents.

My Account

Use this link to view and edit your personal account information. See Using My Account for details.

ThomsonNOW Tools

Use this link to access several helpful utilities, including a calculator and a glossary, and a wide range of interactive simulations.

Feedback

Use this link to bring up a form to send feedback to the ThomsonNOW development team.

Sign Out

Use this link to sign out of the current session and return to the ThomsonNOW Welcome page.

Using My Account

From this section in ThomsonNOW you can change your account information. You can access this page from the My Account link at the top of any page.

You can edit any of the entries and then save them by clicking the Commit Changes button at the bottom. The required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).

Note: You need to enter your current password before you can save any changes.

Here is information about some of the text boxes found on this page:

Password

Remember that passwords are case sensitive—you must enter uppercase and lowercase letters the same way each time. Be careful with characters that look alike, such as l (the letter "ell") and 1, or 2 and Z.

E-mail Address

Make certain the e-mail address you enter is valid. Important account information (such as forgotten passwords) can be sent to it.

Student ID

If you fill-in the Student ID box, do not use your Social Security number or other vulnerable personal data.

When you are done filling out the required fields, click Save to complete the form.

Note: You may need to correct one or more entries if they don't appear to match the requested information. For example, phone numbers should include the area code and use only "-" as separators. Follow the instructions in any error messages that appear to correct the entries.
